nANO BROWS

Nano brows are perfect for those who want the look of microblading but are not a candidate for microblading due to oily skin and enlarged pores. Now, we offer this magical service called nano brows that uses the same technique as shading but we create hair-like strokes to give the illusion of natural brow hairs! So, anyone can benefit from this service because nano brows works on any skin type. With this technique, there is minimal to no bleeding which allows for better healing and longer lasting results. Less trauma also means better retention!

Nano brows is gaining popularity within the male clientele due to the natural results that make it look super realistic. This service is great for alopecia clients and those who have undergone chemo-therapy. This treatment agrees with most if not all skin types.

We are one of the only permanent makeup clinics in the PNW that offers this service and are proud to be the first and most experienced in our area to provide you exceptional and professional results!

  • Follow these guidelines to ensure minimal bleeding and optimal pigment retention.

    • 24 Hours Before: No caffeine. No exercise as it expands the pores.

    • 48 Hours Before: No alcohol.

    • 2 to 3 Days Before: No Ibuprofen, Aspirin or blood thinning medication (Tylenol is okay).

    • 7 Days Before: No plucking, waxing or threading.

    • 14 Days Before: No vitamin E, fish oils, or niacin. No extensive sun exposure or sunburns. No AHA’s or any creams/face washes for exfoliating, anti-aging, tone correcting and fading as they may cause pigment discoloration.

    • 4 Weeks Before: No laser treatments, micro-needling, dermaplaning, any other facials, Botox or other fillers, and chemicals peels.

    • 6 Months Before: No Accutane and/or steroids which thin and make the skin more sensitive.

    • Menstrual Cycles: Avoid scheduling your procedure during this time. Your skin will be more sensitive and likely to bleed.

  • The first session is laying down the shape and base of the brow. Microblading is a process so it may take several sessions to achieve your desired look. You will experience slight peeling and scabbing of the brow. Please make sure not to scab during this time. A 6-8 week touch will be recommended to perfect the brow and go over any spots that healed patchy. this is also perfect to add more thickness if desired.

    • Day 1: Your brows will be bolder and darker. Expect light to moderate swelling and redness. This is normal and all part of the process

    • Day 2: Swelling and redness will be down. Still bolder and darker

    • Day 3: Itching will start to occur and appear thicker in texture. Pigment will start flaking, make sure not to pick at the brows

    • Day 4-14: Skin starts to peel and flake, brows start to appear softer and patchy, pigment will start to resurface. Complete healing process takes 4 weeks.

  • For the first 7-10 days:

    • No water, soap, or lotion on the brows. Do not get them wet. If water has touched the brows, pat with a dry cloth.

    • Sparingly apply the aftercare ointment once a day with a Q-tip in the morning or at night. If needed, use a baby wipe to cleanse the area.

    • Do not go into high exposure sun during healing process

    • Do not let water come into contact with your brows for long periods of time (the brows can not be soaking)

    • Do not use any makeup, creams, or exfoliants on the brows for 2 weeks

    • Do not go into saunas or pools

    • Do not get any massages, facials, or skin treatments during the healing process

    • Do not use any cosmetics with retinol acids, salicylic or AHA’s for 30 days after the appointment

    • Do not use laser light therapy. This can lighten, or darken and distort the pigment

    • Do not scratch, pick or move eyebrows until they have healed

Your brows will take 7-10 days to fully appear once peeling has finished. The color under the skin will appear much lighter in comparison to the skin that is peeling off. This is completely normal as the skin is in it’s re-modeling phase. At this point, you will have a pink layer of fresh new skin that can often alter how the pigment actually looks. It can be 4 weeks before the true color appears.

If you will be exposed to sun, protect your eyebrows by applying sunblock from 4 weeks post-procedure, as sun exposure will cause the pigment to fade and change color more rapidly.

Please avoid exfoliants, acne treatments, salicylic acids, retinol’s on the brows for this will fade your brows quicker.
